Downtown San Jose’s Silicon Valley Pride Festival is August 30 & 31 - a huge gathering of the LGBTQ+ community. For our third year at SVPride, Foothills will participate with Affirming Faith Communities of Santa Clara County. Their large booth has couches, a children's area and rainbow-themed giveaways.
Foothills is joined by Palo Alto UCC, Ladera UCC, Campbell UCC
and the Santa Clara Association including Pastor Evelyn Vigil and Sandy Ruggles on the organizing committee. There are 40+ faith communities, across many different faiths, on the searchable map.

We incorporate fun activities into the booth. You can volunteer to staff the booth and invite Festival attendees to participate in the clergy listening corner, the kids’ coloring area, the prayer
ofrenda, and the thoughtful cards. Please consider joining us for a 2-hour shift on Saturday or Sunday. All volunteers will receive free admission to the festival.
